FicTones
For Those Interested in This Story
I am making one long story.
Until now, I have kept it going on my own.
Now I hope to meet people who would like to be part of this work.
Driven, in the one life I have, to bring this story to the world.
Project Overview
About the WorkQuestions from philosophy, mythology, ethics and aesthetics are woven into both the themes and the structure of this story.
On DisclosureDetails of the work — its world, settings, plot, and characters — are not made public.
For those who wish to consider the work in earnest, the manuscript and world-building materials can be shared under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Progress (as of September 2026)・Manuscript of the long-form work: in progress
・World-building and reference materials: maintained internally
・Soundtracks: officially released on Apple Music, with composition ongoing
PurposeThe goal is to bring this story into the world as a book, or as animation or manga.
The order does not matter.
The story is at the centre; the music and the visual imagery grow from it.

About FicTones
Where the Making ContinuesFicTones is the name I gave to a small room with nothing but bookshelves, a piano and a computer.
At its centre now is a long fantasy novel.
The music was written to picture that world.
About MeWatanabe Kaho
The writings, photographs and music I have made so far are collected here.
